Encouragement

We desire to reach out with God's grace to serve those in our community in all of the challenges of life.  We are committed to a Biblical approach in all that we do.  Dr. Jack Basie is Westminster's Minister of Pastoral Care.  He provides oversight to our recovery based groups, as well as many of the needs of our congregation in times of crisis, illness or surgery.  Additional information about Dr. Basie can be found in his bio. 

Celebrate Recovery 

Hurts, hang-ups and habits that are kept secret become barriers to intimacy with God. Celebrate Recovery is a SAFE place to be honest with yourself, with God and with others.  Groups meet every Thursday at 7 pm in the Westminster Hall Chapel. DivorceCare

DivorceCare is a welcoming place during a difficult and confusing time.  Groups meet Sunday evenings at 5:30 pm in the Westminster Hall Parlor. Topics discussed include: The Road to Healing, Facing My Anger, Financial Survival, Kid Care, Reconciliation and more.  For additional information or to be a part of DivorceCare contact Jack Basie or call the church office at 366-3107.

Grief Recovery

Grief is not an enemy or a sign of weakness. It is a sign of being human. Grief is the cost of loving someone.  Since grief comes to everyone, why do some people seem to work through it better than others?  In Grief Recovery groups others will walk with you on your journey through grief, strengthened and enabled through the Lord Jesus Christ.  Find out when the next Grief Recovery Group meets by contacting Jack Basie.
