Introducing Our New Staff
We could not be more excited about the three new people who have joined our staff recently. We are so blessed to have such an incredible staff supporting our church. Please give a warm welcome to our newest staff members if you see them around.
Samantha York
ROAR Sports Administrative Assistant
Samantha grew up in Asheboro, NC, before moving with her family to Rock Hill several years ago. She is currently getting her undergraduate degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Her love of ministry began with her role as a youth small group leader at North Rock Hill Church.
Samantha is already familiar with ROAR because she has served a Jr. ROAR coach and referee. She is looking forward to helping with the behind-the-scenes work to make ROAR a success out on the field.
Stephen Berry
ROAR Sports Assistant Director
Stephen Berry is a native of Rock Hill and is excited about moving back to the area. After graduating from Winthrop University, he interned with RUF for three years in Chattanooga, TN. This summer he served as an intern in our Student Ministry so we are excited to keep him on staff.
In his free time, Stephen loves to play team sports and spend time outdoors. He is looking forward to his role with ROAR because it incorporates his passions for relational ministry, team sports, and equipping families.
Aynsley Vivian
Assistant Director of Student Ministries
Aynsley grew up as a pastor's kid in Perth, Western Australia, before coming to the US to attend Columbia International University. In May, she graduated with a degree in Bible and Bible Teaching. She is truly excited to connect with students, to get to know them and their families more, and to study God’s Word together. She is very passionate about youth ministry and discipleship.
In her free time, Aynsley loves to go for walks or hikes, get coffee with friends, read really good books (especially on theology/doctrine), or travel wherever the car or plane will take her.
