Student Ministry Interns
If you had or have school-aged children, you know how hard it is to keep kids entertained over their summer break. This makes the summer a key time in student ministry because kids want to spend more time with each other and our staff. To help us, we bring in interns each summer to make sure every one of our students is being reached over the summer. This year, we have an all-star team of interns including some former students. We are looking forward to what God will accomplish in this season of our students' lives, especially through the help of our interns.
Meet Our Summer Interns:
Stephen Berry
I'm Stephen Berry and I grew up here in Rock Hill, SC. I attended Winthrop University and upon graduation served as an intern with RUF in Chattanooga for three years. I just moved back to Rock Hill and I am attending Covenant Theological Seminary online in hopes of becoming a college pastor. I am so excited to get to know this church family better while I serve as an intern. In my free time, I enjoy watching and playing all sorts of team sports, hiking, climbing, drinking coffee, movies, podcasts, and laughing alongside friends.
Olivia Grant
My name is Olivia Grant and I am from Rock Hill. I just finished my freshman year at Wofford College where I am double majoring in Biology and Spanish. I enjoy reading, doing crafts, watching TV shows/movies, going on walks, and hanging out with my friends and family. A fun fact about me is that my favorite show is Percy Jackson.
Nathan Harris
Hello, my name is Nathan Harris and I’m so excited to get started at Westminster. I was born and raised in Durham, NC, which I believe is a criminally underrated city. I just finished up my freshman year at Appalachian State where I study History as well as Community and Regional Planning. I plan on pursuing a career in city planning. When I’m not hiking around Boone or watching movies with friends, you can find me at Cookout, the best fast-food chain in the world.
Laurel Hoffman
What’s up! I’m Laurel, and I’m from Durham, NC. I just finished my freshman year as a biology major at Berry College in Rome, GA. I love to spend time outside and play sports (especially basketball, soccer, and frisbee). I also love to play guitar and piano. A fun fact about me is that I work at the dairy on Berry’s campus during the school year.
Jacob Lemmonds
Hey guys, my name is Jacob Lemmonds and I’m from Rock Hill, SC. I am currently studying accounting at Charleston Southern University. In my free time, I like playing disk golf, watching movies, and hanging out with friends. A hidden talent I have is juggling. I cannot wait to jump back into Westminster's Student Ministry and have a great summer developing relationships with our students.
Jessica Tindal
Hi, my name is Jessica Tindal. I am from Rock Hill and grew up in Westminster Presbyterian Church. I am now studying Graphic Communications at Clemson University. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, doing something creative, or spending time with friends. A fun fact about me is that my favorite color is blue.
