Join the Journey During Missions Weekend
It’s a weekend to learn how God is moving and to explore our role in His larger story of journeying with the unreached – across the world and across the street. Our weekend includes:
Show & Grow: Missionary Stories
Come hear stories of how God is working around the world during a casual evening of fellowship and prayer for our missionaries. This unique opportunity to connect personally with our missionaries is organized by our Sunday morning discipleship groups.
You are invited to attend a gathering regardless of whether you regularly attend a Sunday morning discipleship group. If you need help getting connected to hear a particular missionary, contact Liz Hope at lhope@wpcgo.com.
- Friday, March 21
- Times and locations vary based on group
The Pilgrim’s Table: Afghan Feast
More than just a meal, experience the warm hospitality and rich flavors of Afghanistan while enjoying community fellowship and celebrating God’s work across cultures. Our meal will be prepared by the women in our very own Bright Hope Ministry. Come prepared also to shop for unique gifts created by our Afghan hostesses.

The Pilgrims’ Tales: Stories of the Journey
What is it like to flee your home country while being pursued by those who wish you harm? And how does God show up in your darkest experiences to bring life and hope? Special guests will share the stories of their personal journeys and how they met Jesus on the way. Afterwards, shop for unique gifts created by the Afghan women in our Bright Hope Ministry.
