Caring For Other Women

For Expectant & New Moms

Are you expecting a new addition to your family? Or have you welcomed a new little one to your family recently?

We know that the anticipation of a new baby or child through pregnancy/adoption is a significant transition for any family. Our ministry exists to serve expecting families in our church through our prayers, encouragement, and other helpful resources. As you prepare to welcome an addition to your family, we would be honored to come alongside you and support you as you seek to embrace your role as the primary influences of faith in your child’s life.

Please let us know if your family is growing.

For Those Who Lost a Loved One

When faced with the loss of a loved one, what better place to turn, but to your church family for comfort and support. It's for this reason that we have a team of women who prepare and serve a meal to the family of a deceased church member. We are currently in need of some more ladies to volunteer with this important ministry.

If you are interested in caring for our families in this gracious way, please contact our Bereavement Ministry Coordinators, Madge Biggers at 803.627.1245 or mbiggers4@comporium.net or Karla Ratliff at 803.448.1222 or kdar@comporium.net.

For Those In Need of Encouragement

The Card Ministry is a way for you to serve the members of our congregation by sending them words of encouragement that offer bright respite during challenging times. This ministry is a great way to serve from your own home and in your own time. For more information please contact Melanie Horvat at horv143@yahoo.com or 794.905.9525.
